Begin the application process. The City of Cedar Rapids is currently recruiting for a Water Utility Engineer II. This position develops and manages the coordination, design, budgeting, bidding and implementation of water distribution system engineering plans, construction projects, reports and studies; performs related work as required. The work schedule for this position is M-F, 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. The annual salary range for this position is $65,852.80 - $90,417.60. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in civil, environmental or mechanical engineering or related field;and Extensive experience in water distribution system engineering design and construction;or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
