So just imagine where we can take you! The San Francisco branch of the Western region is searching for a New Equipment Sales Representative to sell elevators and escalators for new installation projects. Selling responsibilities include estimating, bidding, and negotiating the sale. Provide technical and support information to building owners, general contractors, architects, and consultants, and deliver effective sales presentations. Provide elevator consultation to customers, including basic techniques such as handling capacity and waiting time. Process jobs thoroughly, including processing contract documents, creating approvals and layouts and tracking to completion. Implement new equipment sales installation process by working directly with field management on NE projects and coordinate activities and information concerning ordering and installation of Otis equipment. Monitor collection of accounts. Follow and track standard processes in completing the above. Bachelor''s degree in engineering or business, or equivalent in relevant sales work experience, supplemented by sales/Otis experience. Minimum of 5 years sales experience within the elevator industry is preferred. Candidate must possess solid communication skills in order to effectively communicate with customers and other Otis employees. Applicant must have strong computer skills with solid understanding of the construction industry. Must be proficient with architectural drawings and specifications.
