Job Description: Using object oriented programming languages and mobile development tools, the Programming Specialist will work on business initiatives. Project work will include the development and support of delivery management systems that ensure seamless customer service and improved administrative productivity, as well as the enhancement of our systems. Responsibilities: ·Design new systems or enhance existing systems. ·Determine source data (input), processing requirements (output), output formats, project timing and cost estimates. ·Ensure system performance criteria are met. ·Design, implement, and document technical procedures. ·Design/modify, code, debug, test, and document moderately complex application systems. ·Install and test moderately complex software packages. ·Train users in new applications. ·Estimate project task hours. ·Conduct feasibility and cost benefit analysis. ·Understand customer technical requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s level degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and five years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of object oriented programming languages such as Java (Spring, IceFaces, Struts, Javascript and HTML) and C# (.net 4.0, WCF, WPF, and LINQ), as well as DB2 and SQL Server 2008 databases. Knowledge of SOAP and RESTful web services is also required.
