           Position:  INITIAL PROCESSOR - SAW                                                                     LEVEL III   
                             (Hourly)                                                          


 
Reports to: 
           Manufacturing Supervisor      
 
Essential Functions: 
 
·       Proficient at setup and adjusting process parameters on one or more pieces of equipment. Equipment includes saws, ironworker, and punching equipment.
 
·       Reads and interprets component part drawings and uses simple tools, (tape rule, straight-edge, protractor, etc.) to confirm attainment of dimensional tolerance.
 
·       Saw and ironworker operators are to remove burrs.
 
·       Will truck, handle or position material.
 
·       Every employee is expected to:
           -          Complete all required paperwork including labor reporting and documentation of quality control and material movement.
 
           -          Work safely and maintain the work area with high standards of housekeeping.
 
           -          Perform self-inspection and other required quality control functions at the employee's work station.
 
           -          Perform required Preventive Maintenance activities on machinery and/or equipment operated.
 
           -          Train and/or assist in the development of personnel.
 
           -          Do the work in lower levels when assigned, and assist in the work in higher levels.
 
           -          Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision.
 
 
 
Qualifications:
·       Average blueprint reading and mechanical skills.
 
·       Works independently with minimal supervision.
 
·       Lifting requirements:
           Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting
           devices are available and recommended.
 
Education and Experience Requirements: 
·       High School diploma plus additional related technical school training.
 
·       One (1) to three (3) years metal fabrication experience.
