Direct all Quality activity for the Access Solutions Division. Improve overall product, process and business quality by establishing a strong operational quality organization to refine existing control elements and product and process quality as well as establish internal and external supplier audits and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Insure supplier development, supplier quality, and establish a strong supplier quality program. The supplier quality program will need to be for both domestic and Asian suppliers. * In conjunction with Engineering, establish a new product development quality process. * Develop a high-performing quality team across the Division. * Develop and lead a high quality organization charged with ownership of product and process quality within the ASD manufacturing sites. * Provide leadership and coaching on the development of quality strategies for product families; assist team and key business partners in driving quality improvements based on customer data; * Set business metrics for the team and provide performance feedback, provide guidance to team on setting and achieving individual objectives aligned with team goals; * Ensure the balance of quality and other business objectives to drive success of business partner initiatives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction * Incorporate the use of Lean/Six Sigma tools and methods in team activities and business problem solving; * Champion the development of deployment of quality and reliability engineering, promote analytical problem solving through sound statistical applications; * Expand the quality system infrastructure using ISO/QS/TS principles to ensure robust, reproducible, high quality manufacturing processes. Qualifications:
* 15+ years of quality / process engineering with a minimum of 5 years of supervisor experience. Greater than 10 years industrial experience in which candidate had responsibility for the development and implementation of product and/or process quality is preferred. * Candidate must have experience with Asian and/or international suppliers. * Candidate must have demonstrated influential leadership and team leadership. * Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate must be able to influence team dynamics regarding quality goals, deliver constructive feedback and provide quality leadership in a cross functional environment. * Candidate must have solid understanding of statistical methods and their application to product or process engineering. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are a must. In addition, the candidate must have experience with typical quality gauges and instrumentation plus understand engineering drawings. * Candidate must have prior experience with ISO/QS/TS quality systems. * Preferred candidate will have work experience outside of just quality organizations (i.e. manufacturing, process engineering, R&D, etc.). * Proficiency with Excel, Minitab and PowerPoint. * Expertise in ISO/QS/TS type quality system is required. * Experience in process engineering is preferred.
Special Requirements * Up to 25 % travel required; will have responsibility for multiple sites.

* Bachelor degree required * Lean certification strongly preferred * Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred * Masters degree highly preferred Options:
