Title: Equipment Logistics Coordinator Location: Intra Gulf-Qatar-Doha Other Locations:
Equipment Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for: . Coordinating on time delivery of equipment to catering stations worldwide . Ensuring that warehouse facilitates properly store non-perishable equipment and that perishable items are stored at ideal temperatures following proper FIFO procedures . Reporting and resolving of stock related discrepancies in a timely manner. . Authorizing warehouse on issuance of goods . Monitoring bulk consumption and alerting user department to follow established systems and procedures so as to avoid any abnormalities or anomalies in ordering. . Conducting physical stock checks in the warehouse as required. . Implementing Qosmos System in outsourced warehouse. . Assisting with introduction of new equipment and with timely withdrawal and disposal of obsolete stock. . Assisting with station start-ups and close downs in relation to equipment. . Investigating and reporting all issues pertaining to equipment via Voyage Reports. . Assisting with reduction of stock losses and breakages and in ensuring systems are in place to measure usage rates . Performing additional duties as needed.
Qualification/Experience/Skills required: . Secondary School Certificate or Equivalent . (3 ) years work experience in similar role in airline or catering industry. . Proficiency in computers and in stock control systems like Oracle/Qosmos, etc. . Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
