Job Description
TheRoad Supervisorresponsibilities focus around ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all vehicles in service for this contract. He or she reports directly to Operations Manager. This position will be located in our San Francisco facility.
Responsibilities Include: * Spends the majority of the time conducting field evaluations, through on-street monitoring that includes, but is not limited to, assessment of vehicle condition, vehicle operator professionalism, vehicle operator performance, and service rule adherence. * He or she shall promptly respond to accidents/incidents. * The Road Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining all accident/incident documentation for employees in his/her division and making sure that those records are clear, articulate and accessible for viewing by appropriate client, State and Federal agencies. * The Road Supervisor will assist the Safety & Training Manager with Behind-the-Wheel training of new drivers and re-training of current drivers. * He or she will perform Ride Checks, both observed and unobserved as needed. * The Road Supervisor will assist with maintaining positive Employee Morale and Quality Customer Service. * The Road Supervisor will cover driving and dispatch shifts as needed. * Road Supervisors also assist in ensuring the professional appearance of all vehicles and employees. * All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
* Must have all licenses and certificates to operate the equipment for the local transit services provided by MV Public Transportation, Inc. * Must be able to obtain the VDDP certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol. * Must work effectively with employees and have leadership characteristics. * Must have good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. * Must have good attendance and safety record. * Requires flexible hours, including extended days and weekends.
