Summary Supervise, manage, control, and administer an organization of over 50 employees, providing Transportation Services for the Ft Huachuca Directorate of Logistics, Fort Huachuca, AZ. Will supervise daily operations of the installation Transportation Motor pool, Personal Property Shipping Office, Unit Movements and other transportation related functions supporting all Ft Huachuca tenants.

* Provide guidance and direction to all section employees. * Analyze data provided by US Army STAMIS systems and report status to the Project Manager and to customers of the various transportation activities. * Attend and provide input for briefings as required in support of the overall logistics mission. Insure a safe workplace and provide training as required to subordinates. * Insure quality standards are meet.

* Must have three years general experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other responsible work related to traffic or transportation programs or operations. * Must have five years specialized experience in the Management of Department of Defense transportation programs or operations, Planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling traffic operations to provide economical and efficient transportation of freight by common and other carriers, and other transportation carrier services, Technological developments, particularly in equipment, facilities, safety, and other features. * Must know applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations concerning operations and programs, and proposed solutions. * Must have the ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others. * Must have skills in written and oral presentations. * Must have the capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work. * Must have the ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions. * Must understanding/knowledge/expertise in the Army's Logistics and Transportation systems i.e. Defense Property system, TOPS, GSM. * Must understanding of the Army's Unit Movements Systems and Deployment Operations. * Must have experience planning for mobilization and reserve component logistics training and support. Education and/or Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. * Prior experience in TMP and Personnel property operations a Plus. Computer Skills
