    What You Can Expect

    Responsible for safely operating the assigned aircraft and handling all aspects of the flight to which they are assigned. Responsible for ensuring the aircraft is in airworthy condition prior to the flight. Must ensure compliance with all Federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual.

    How You'll Create Impact

    • Acting as pilot in command (PIC) of scheduled flights.

    • Providing excellent customer service to passengers.

    • Complying with schedules, and other directives governing the aircraft's operation.

    • Ensuring that preflight inspections are performed at least one hour prior to scheduled flight.

    • Studying weather conditions at destination, en-route, alternate airports and departure points.

    • Preparing flight plans.

    • Ensuring that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers.

    • Reviewing and calculating the aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts to ensure the necessary margin of safety prescribed by company regulations.

    • Supervising the first officer (second in command) in any duties necessary for the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.

    • Making decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights, deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operational conditions dictate.

    • Reporting any unusual incident and/or aircraft malfunction to the Director, Aviation Services.

    Your Background

    • Bachelors degree in Aviation or appropriate industry experience required.

    • Must have 3000+ hours total flight time, with International flight experience preferred.

    • Type rating and operating experience in Challenger 300 series aircraft preferred.

    • Type rating and operating experience in Gulfstream 650 series aircraft preferred.

    • Valid FAA ATP certificate and First Class Medical certificate.

    Travel Expectations

    Up to 50% overnight

    Work location: Oxford, CT

    Candidates must live within a 2 hour travel time to Waterbury-Oxford Airport - KOXC.

    Compensation Range: $224,000 - $290,000/yr base salary
