We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Driver to join our team. The CDL Driver will be responsible for safely operating a variety of commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

salary: $37,000 - $49,919.98 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Safely operate various types of commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, flatbed trucks, and tankers. Transport goods and materials to specified destinations in a timely and efficient manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Secure cargo and ensure that it is properly loaded and unloaded according to safety protocols. Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating vehicles. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery routes and schedules. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns with vehicles to the appropriate personnel. Follow established safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained, both inside and out. Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay current on industry regulations and best practices.

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 4 hours at one time

• working up to 1 hrs of overtime per week
