Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the dispatcher include

• Route deliveries efficiently.

• Investigate and resolve issues reported by drivers.

• Coordinate deliveries with other departments and facilities.

• Assist will-call customers.

• Use computer for shipping feedback/other various computer functions.

• Assist with phone calls.

• Collaborate with sales, order entry, service department, etc. to meet customer needs.
