Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently assisting a local client, recruiting for Forklift Driver in Albany, New York. This is a temp to hire opportunity, with starting pay rates of $20.00 Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm. For instant consideration, please click apply below.

Responsibilities of a Forklift Driver:

• Operating a forklift to load and unload materials from trucks.

• Transporting materials to designated areas within the warehouse or and yard.

• Stacking and organizing products in the appropriate storage areas.

• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Collaborating with warehouse team members to fulfill orders and maintain inventory accuracy.

• Reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.

• Following company policies and procedures regarding proper handling and storage of materials.

• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse or facility.

• Assisting with other tasks as needed, including general labor and inventory management.

Requirements:

• Valid forklift certification or license.

• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Willingness to undergo additional training or certifications as required by the employer.

• Reliability and punctuality in attendance. High school diploma required.

• 1-2 years of forklift and receiving experience

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
