Heavy Equipment Operator

Description:

This position will assist in customer service; receiving, sorting, and loading steel and agricultural products; cleanup of the shop and stocking material

Safely assists customers in a professional manner by

-Helping with steel orders, including pulling, stacking, and loading steel.

-Loading and unloading products for customers

-

Receives product from incoming trucks, unloads, and places in appropriate storage area.

Forklift, Material handling, loading trucks, yard work, General labor, Loading, steel fabrication

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and gripping, squatting, bending climbing, standing, reaching when transferring, sorting, stacking, and delivering products. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and stand on concrete floors, in an unheated warehouse or outside, with moderate levels of noise.

Standard driver's license

Ability to perform math calculations to figure lengths, weights, and billing.

Ability to operate cutting torch and small tools.

Knowledge of metals preferred

Strong customer service skills

Able to pass pre-employment drug screening
