SHIPPING & RECEIVING LABORER

Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc., a leader in heavy civil construction and underground construction in North America and Canada, is seeking experie nced candidates for our Shipping & Receiving Laborer position at our Evansville, Indiana location .

The position is responsible for providing general shipping & receiving services for our shop, projects and locations. This position also provides labor support for our Equipment & Shop Services Department, as needed.

The essential functions of the position are

• Loads, transports and unloads materials, supplies and equipment.

• Check in deliveries and match inbound product to Purchase Orders (PO).

• Notifies PO requestors by email, phone, or by delivering product to departments when their order has arrived.

• Process requests for package and freight shipments.

• Maintains safety supplies stock and notifies Operations Manager when supplies need to be ordered.

• Perform other Shipping & Receiving tasks as directed.

The successful candidate will have

• Must have a valid driver's license to operate forklift and company vehicle(s).

• One year of stable work history, but willing to train.

• Must be skilling in using hand tools, small power tools and forklifts.

• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull.

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to communicate with others effectively.

• Ability to work in a collaborative manner with multiple team members

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors with inclement weather conditions and have regular attendance.
