    Description

    This Full-time position is located in Charlotte, NC; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 area code in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.

    The purpose of this position is to unload, load, make oil movements as needed. The customers are the operations team/processes, PKG Plant, Loadout, QC lab operators, and the production supervisors.

    Operators in this position are responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the unload/loadout equipment, designated tanks/tank farms, and Master Sanitation Schedule.

    Principal Accountabilities

    • Ensuring that the equipment is fully operational and in good repair.

    • Troubleshooting problems as required.

    • Gathering samples as required and will conduct analytical testing associated with assigned processes.

    • Completing all operating logs and record any required information in SAP or MII systems.

    • Loading and sealing all rail cars and trucks upon completion.

    • Assisting truck drivers as necessary with loading or unloading materials or chemicals.

    • This person will also assist other refinery and plant personnel as needed, and will perform any other duty as requested by the production supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

    • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.

    • High School diploma or Equivalent

    • Must be able to read/write English

    • Basic computer skills

    • Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer and work in confined spaces

    • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

    • Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.

    • Ability to work in elevated areas

    • Must be able to operate machinery

    • Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts

    Preferred:

    • Forklift certified

    • Prior experience in production related work
