    The opportunity

    The Material Handler I is the entry level material handler that will focus on gaining the knowledge and understanding to successfully provide released components to the production areas.

    How you'll spend your day

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Learn to stage materials and pick jobs from production schedule as needed.

    • Pick, kit and deliver released components to packaging and pharmacy departments to meet production schedule.

    • Learn and understand the process of completing a cycle count.

    • Move materials to different departmental locations throughout the facility upon request.

    • Return unused components to inventory upon completion of production runs.

    • Under close supervision, monitor communications from QA and planning groups in anticipation of incoming or outgoing shipments and learn the process of preparing outgoing shipments.

    • Support department and site projects as needed.

    • Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.

    • Other projects and duties as required/assigned.

    Your experience and qualifications

    Education requirements:

    High school diploma or GED required.

    Experience requirements:

    • Minimum Two or more years' experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.

    • Basic computer knowledge.

    • Pharmaceutical warehouse or Inventory control or distribution center experience.

    • Proficient technical and attention to detail skills.

    • Strong Organizational and multi-tasking skills.

    • Demonstrates the ability to work in a team based culture and with company personnel from all levels.

    • Forklift training preferred.

    • Hazardous waste handling training preferred.
