Route Service Sales Representative

Job Description

The SSR position will be responsible for driving a box truck along an established route to service and sell products to an existing customer base:

* 10 weeks of training

Combination of being out on the road with another SSR, learning about Cintas services offerings, how to cross sell to existing customer accounts, etc.

* Begin day around 5-5:30 am at the facility to prepare/load the truck with products to deliver along the route.

* 20% is actually driving the truck, the other 80% is focused on relationship building and customer interaction.

While dropping off products to clients, this position will be the face of Cintas to their customer base. They will be responsible for building rapport with key decision makers and ensuring quality standards are being met.

Responsibilities also include growing the existing customer base by cross selling additional products/services, controlling inventory and negotiating service agreement renewals.

Skills and Requirements

• Candidates must meet requirements outlined by Department of Transportation for driving regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs

Active driver's license

At least 21 years old

Obtain DOT medical certification (They will pay for this if candidate doesn't possess one currently)

Provide previous employment documentation

* High school diploma or GED

* Strong customer service skills

* Ability to lift 50 pounds

* Manager is looking for a "Blue collar work ethic with a white collar mindset"
