Pay Rate

The pay rate for this job is $ 15.50 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Shipping And Receiving Clerk:

• Assisting with inventory of packaging and safety supplies

• Must become familiar with all packaging/labeling equipment and supplies, which are used on all orders being shipped

• Following packaging/labeling instructions as set for by the customer, which may include: labels, stickers, tags, warnings, stencils, etc

• Assisting with assembly of boxes and grids

• Keeping Shipping/Receiving department clean and organized, and all docks clear of debris and stock

• Must have tow motor certification or be willing to receive this training upon hiring in at Polychem Dispersions, Inc.

• Unloading/offloading of trucks per instructed

• Stretch wrapping, banding, stenciling, etc.

• Filling out receivers, weight slips, bills of lading, or other paperwork as required by the Shipping Manager/Supervisor

• Working knowledge of hazardous materials shipping, labeling, and placarding

• Taking of all samples of raw materials. (if required)

Shift Timings: 1st shift (Day)

Job requirements

• Previous shipping/receiving experience

• Previous forklift experience

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

• Drug Test Required
