The Crane Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the mechanical boom and cable cranes, lattice cranes, tower cranes, or tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials, machines, or products in many directions on a construction site. Extensive long term travel to different job sites may be required for this position.Responsibilities:Perform daily inspection of crane.Coordinate lift plans with project superintendent and sub-contractors on deliveries and material placements for the day.Communicate lift plans, identify each designated rigger and signal person for daily lift plan and safely execute lifts according to plan.Coordinate additional unexpected lifts from deliveries that may not be planned in an order not to effect schedule requirements of other working trades.

Physical - Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting and field environment; to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs without assistance (94lbs without assistance for self-performed concrete jobs) and greater than 50lbs with assistance; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Vision - See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hearing - Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Safety - Consistently follows and improves safety policies and practices. Looks for unsafe conditions or actions and takes appropriate measures to address unsafe conditions/actions per company policies. Leads and communicates project safety is everyone's responsibility. Recognizes it takes everyone on a project working together safely to have a safe project. Participates in safety training and meetings.
