Warehouse Clerk - 1st Shift (Greer, SC)

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for maintaining material handling equipment and supplies needed to maintain warehouse operations, and also provide administrative support for logistics management team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately inputs data into computer system

• Reconciles transactions, BOL's, and orders

• Organizes files and paperwork

• Communicates with other departments and suppliers regarding returns and shipments

• Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area

• Follow up with carriers via email and/or phone

• Establish pick up appointments for carriers

• Maintain schedule for shipments

• Maintain open communications with supply chain team, customer service, and customers

• Handle data via Oracle and manipulate data within MS Excel

• Assist with creating bills of lading

• Track shipments when necessary

• Maintain friendly customer relations.

• Maintain open communications with Shipping/Receiving Supervisors to maximize shipments and minimize problems. Manage orders based on production capacities to determine shipping abilities and schedule trucking companies to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Maintain open communications with Shipping/Receiving Supervisors, customer Service, and Transportation Manager to resolve any issues with shipments.

• Coordinate with distribution management to determine load out schedules based on customers' requests.

• Other duties as assigned
