Randstad is looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead for the Greater Smithfield Area. The candidate will have experience with order processing and prioritizing, Leading warehouse staff, all shipping and receiving functions, Bills of Lading, Shipping Documents both Domestic and International, and maintaining warehouse records. Responsibilities

• Processing and packaging orders in a timely and efficient manner.

• Shipping and Receiving of products and materials

• Leading warehouse staff and reporting on warehouse daily activites and productivity.

• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.

• Shipping of Hazardous materials such as: epoxy or glue. Certification Preferred

• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.

• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.

• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.

• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse.

• Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 6 hours at one time
