Suffolk Local manufacturer is hiring for a Material Handler for their production team. Candidates with prior production or manufacturing experience working with plastics, metals, or fabrication of products are encouraged to ! Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, parts, and components from suppliers or other departments.

• Stage materials and components at production workstations or assembly areas according to production schedules and job orders.

• Assist with set up and prepare machinery for production runs

• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and detect any malfunctions.

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

• Make adjustments to machines to maintain product quality and consistency

• Use proper lifting techniques, personal protective equipment (PPE), and equipment safety features when handling materials

• Willing to train for the right candidate
