    What you'll do:

    • Day-to-day supervisory responsibilities include: ensuring associates fill out all required documentation (scorecards, paperwork, etc), consistent voice of quality for the area - including proper handling of goods and coaching of others to ensure materials are handled with care so that quality parts can be produced, provide direction to Internal Logistics Team Leaders and verify that products are effectively moving through to each work group center. Emphasize employee involvement and empower the team to deliver great results.

    • Operate equipment and assists in material transactions - willing and able to learn all processes to ensure materials are handled correctly, safely, and with quality in mind.

    • Support daily operations in the Warehouse for critical daily management metrics for Safety - prioritize safety daily, teach and comply with regulations and best practices, comply and enforce required PPE, Quality - ensure quality is evident in daily work, follow GDP/GMP procedures, Delivery - compliance with daily schedule, escalate deviations to the Warehouse Manager, own achieving the required output rate, problem solve and escalate issues, Inventory - work according to FIFO principle, monitor and comply with documented Work In Process levels, execute transactions as required and follow stand inventory control processes, and Productivity - deliver output as determined by the daily schedule, participate in problem solving to minimize downtime and improve throughput, contribute to the continuous improvement culture.

    • Champion and deploy the Danaher Business System in all areas of responsibility and participate in departmental and cross functional Kaizen events.

    • Promote a learning environment to include facilitation of cross training associates to ensure a flexible team to meet site demands

    Who you are:

    • 4-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

    • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in manufacturing with prior supervisory and coaching experience is required

    • Experience in a warehouse environment and supply chain management

    • Must have experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word specifically) and ERP experience (specifically in manufacturing environment)

    • Keen eye for quality - ensuring that products meet specifications, and team is compliant with all policies and procedures including Good Documentation Practice (GDP)

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

    • Manufacturing planning/scheduling, and lean manufacturing concepts

    • Continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing

    • Working in a GMP manufacturing environment

    This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
