Yard Laborer

Description:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a 1hr lunch

Will be outside 24/7 rain or shine

The yard laborer is responsible for checking in cars. The job begins by visually inspecting totaled vehicles sent by he insurance companies, doing an "inventory" of the vehicle. This includes noting if it has all it's glass intact, checking for missing body panels (candidate must know what a fender, bumper, hood, trunk, etc are), and basic interior such as steering wheel, seats, radio etc.

Other duties will be to attempt to start the vehicle. If the vehicle doesn't start, they will use a battery pack and try to jump the battery.

They will use a handheld device similar to a tablet to enter this information, so experience using a smart phone or tablet is a must.

Candidates will work independently in the yard with little to no supervision. Support is available via handheld radio.
