Using AIRLIFT to Map Freighter Pollution at the World’s Top Air Cargo Hubs

Data from the ICCT’s recently released AIRcraft Local Impact Footprint Tool (AIRLIFT) show that in 2023 global commercial freighter landing and takeoff operations generated approximately 7.95 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions at 5,000 airports.
